| Objective: | To understand and design combinational and synchronous sequential digital circuits, and to implement these circuits in programmable devices like PLD components. Further to use XILINX Foundation for this implementing work. | ||
| Main contents: | Number systems, truth tables, combinational circuits, flip-flop's, sequential circuits, VHDL program templates and programmable logic devices of the type PLD. | ||
| Educational form: | Mostly class teaching with exercises but also group work concerning projects and practice in the laboratory. | ||
